Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

• Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
• We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
• We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
• We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
• Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
• We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

Cleaner applicants

When you apply to clean with HavenClean, we collect your name, email, phone number, home address, the area you want to work in, your languages, and your availability. We use them to review your application and, once you are approved, to offer you jobs and pay you.

You choose how you are paid. If you choose Stripe, Stripe verifies your identity and tax details, and we do not receive your ID. If you choose to be paid by Zelle or cash, you give us your country of origin, the type of ID you hold, and a photo of that ID (a passport from any country or a valid US driver's license). We use them only to confirm who you are before approving you.

• Only the owner of HavenClean can open your ID photo. Each time it is opened is recorded, and the secure link expires after 15 minutes.
• Your ID photo is stored privately. It is never shown to customers, other cleaners, or anyone outside HavenClean.
• We keep your ID photo and country of origin while you work with us. We delete them 90 days after your application is declined, or 90 days after your cleaner account is deactivated.
• An application that is not completed within 30 days closes automatically and counts as declined.
